Monkey Love
I am slowly falling in love with Mail Chimp (http://www.mailchimp.com/) I have been using them for the Newsletters (Moosletters) over at EastvaleResidents.com and am using them for ECS newsletters as well. If you poke around their site for a while, you will see the appeal. Not only is their stuff humorous, it is pretty awesome and easy to use.
I am preceding with their RSS Email newsletters for this site starting I a week or so, after I test. So, when I update my blog here, that night a new email goes out to all subscribers of the ECS newsletter. Saves me tons of time because it's automatic and As long as I keep relevant info on my blog, my "Newsletter" is published too.
If you are not a subscriber, look on the right and throw your email address in the form. You'll get the next entry via email and you can jump off at anytime. I do nothing with these emails by the way. Just newsletters. Mail Chimp deletes bounced emails automatically. There are lots more features.
If you have a business or just want to keep in touch with groups of people, check them out.
Kudos to our "Office"
I started to use them when I did my first mailing drop in 2006. I did not want my cell phone ringing off the hook during work hours (when I was an office monkey). So, I hired them to field my calls. They email me and text message me when you get off the phone with them so when I call you back I know what the issue is.
They have been a wonderful asset to have. 24 hours a day you can call them and they pick up. They will patch through you call directly to my cell and have given me and my customers terrific service over the last few years. If I miss a call back and you tell them that, they call me direct and get me in person telling me I have missed calling someone back. They have fielded over 4,500 calls for me without a single copmplaint.
I could not be happier with my "office". They can be reached 24 hours a day at my business line 951 733-6916
New Tech Joins ECS
I have come to the realization that I cannot be everywhere at once. Josh Mendoza has joined out technical team and will be doing service calls with us. He will be mainly evenings and some weekend jobs as well. This will free me up for family activities and tending to the business a bit more which has been lapsing. He has already been a big help. He's freed up enough of my time to create this new web site and allowed me to focus on more business development projects.
Thanks Josh!
