Everyone knows me knows what I think of Norton and their products so I will save you the tirade. MacAfee is not much different and in some cases even worse. 360 Really takes a hit on performance especially on older machines. Just beware.
New Vista machines often come with 360 and because they are quick machines, the impact is not felt as much. Put it on a 3 or 4 year old computer and you will feel it in your performance. For those that have used me for your computer maintenance, just remember the “Protection/Performance” scale I am always talking about.
Kill it and you will see the difference. IN fact, Norton has a removal tool just for you
